  • Serving as a repository of information about relevant activities for UAMS
  • Linking to relevant information sources
  • Providing educational and learning opportunities pertaining to diversity, cultural competency, health disparities, and related topics
  • Gathering and disseminating information about relevant grant opportunities

The Center for Diversity Affairs is finalizing a cultural competency/cultural humility module that will be available for presentation upon request Fall 2017.  “Building a New Framework for Better Social Solutions: Introduction to Cultural Humility” is a *2-hour interactive presentation focusing on dimensions of diversity, unconscious bias, micro-inequities, and more.  The presentation creates a safe space, allowing participants to engage in necessary conversations about prejudice, bias, racism, discrimination, etc.
