Odette B. Woods, JD, MDiv
Odette Woods, J.D., M.Div., SPHR, SHRM-SCP, is the Senior Director of the Center for Diversity Affairs, where her responsibilities include bringing leadership, vision, integrity and a team-oriented philosophy to the diversity and inclusion efforts at UAMS through collaboration and relationship building with internal and external constituents and key stakeholders. Ms. Woods also serves as the business liaison for UAMS Project SEARCH, a program designed to help young adults with developmental disabilities gain employability skills as they seek to secure competitive employment. Ms. Woods maintains a part-time private law practice, Law Office of Odette Woods, PLLC, where she specializes in family law. She is an ordained minister and a volunteer chaplain. She received her Juris Doctorate from UALR William H. Bowen School of Law and her Master of Divinity degree from Baptist Missionary Association Theological Seminary. Ms. Woods is the proud mother of three children and the extremely proud grandmother of five grandchildren.
